The plane landed at the airport just before 7 o’clock this morning.

Police were alerted to the scene after the security company Securitas found the man in the plane’s cargo area on Friday morning.
According to Anders Mattsson landed the plane, owned by Etiopian Airlines, at 6:53 in the morning.
How the man got into the boot is not yet clear. The police are on site and talk to him. Currently suspected of no crime.
– He should feel pretty okay. There is a nurse watching him right now, says Anders Mattsson.

The event is confirmed by the airport company Swedavia.
– He was found in a plane from Ethiopia, says Henrik Kelfve at Swedavia’s press office.

According to Stefan Färdigs, station officer at Arlanda Police, found the man while the plane was unloaded.
– I’ve never been down here at the airport, he said.
The man has been taken into custody by the police.
– In all likelihood, he is not here for tourists, but to seek asylum. In that case, it becomes a matter for the Swedish Migration Board, says Stefan Färdigs.
Is it not alarming that unnoticed can enter the cargo space?
– There may well think. I do not know how airport security is down in Ethiopia, but it is clear that it is not good.
