Activism is action on behalf of a cause, action that goes beyond what is conventional
or routine. The action might be alternative radio, public meetings, rallies, or fasting.
For various causes. Activism has played a major role in ending slavery, challenging
dictatorships, protecting workers from exploitation, protecting the environment,
promoting equality for women, opposing racism, and many other important issues.
Activism has been present throughout history, in every sort of political system. Yet it
has never received the same sort of attention from historians as conventional politics,
with its attention to rulers, wars, elections, and empires. Activists are typically
challengers to policies and practices, trying to achieve a social goal, not to obtain
power themselves. There are many varieties of activism, from the face-to-face

power.
We Ethiopians in the diaspora community has to do a lot more to put pressure on the
international community to completely hamper all the support the dictator regime

the oxygen for the regime to survive particularly in time like this whey by the regime
has totally lost its legitimacy locally. So, how can we snatch the oxygen from this
barbaric dictator? Is a one Million dollar question for the Ethiopian diaspora
community. To address this question effectively, we have to know why the
international community supports this dictatorial regime? We can have various
answers based on different political analysis. But all the answers finally can be
summed up to one point- Stability. The main reason behind the ongoing help from
